I started this Property because I enjoyed meeting people in this area. Hearing our guests say, "I came back again," makes us truly happy. We aspire to be a small Property where you can encounter small happiness... That is our wish at Daichu. Our cuisine theme at Daichu is to serve the seasonal flavors nurtured by our hometown in the most delicious way possible. From check-in to dinner, all beverages are complimentary. Please enjoy pairing them with our dishes. With 10 Rooms and 5 baths, we offer a luxurious experience. The three unique private baths are free to use and can be enjoyed at your convenience when available.

  • Come and enjoy our head chef’s cuisine.

    It has been a while since the head chef moved, but we visited Daichu this time because we thought we could enjoy the chef’s cuisine there.We also wanted to try sea urchin in this season. Until last year, we went to the annex for it, but we assumed it would be the same and chose Daichu instead.(We had visited several times before for the private day-use baths.)We were able to spend a truly enjoyable time, meeting familiar staff as well as new faces.It really felt like coming back again.There is no bath in the Room, but you can use any of the three private baths whenever you like, and we enjoyed delicious sea urchin, great drinks, and obanzai as well—completely satisfied.We were also finally able to see the head chef again. He looked well, which put us at ease as we headed home.We would love to visit again in a different season.

  • The meals were absol...

    The meals were absolutely delicious. The carefully prepared dishes were very satisfying in both quality and quantity. The obanzai was also great, but I was too full to eat much—what a shame! The all-you-can-drink option was a real plus for our family. All the staff were kind and attentive. We also managed to try all of the private baths. The bread we received when leaving was delicious as well. This is now one of the Ryokan we’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.
