In autumn 2024, Hilton Kyoto, the first "Hilton Hotels & Resorts" brand in Kyoto, opened in Kawaramachi Sanjo, a bustling area filled with traditional Kyoto restaurants and shops. Located just a 15-minute drive from the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nijo Castle, a 1-minute walk from Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Subway Station, and a 15-minute drive from Kyoto Station, it offers an ideal location for both sightseeing and business. The hotel features 313 rooms centered around spacious standard rooms of approximately 40 square meters. On the rooftop, guests can relax at an open-air bar while enjoying views of Kyoto. Additional facilities include a restaurant, café, gym, and indoor pool.

    Everything was wonderful.I checked in feeling completely exhausted that day, but the staff kindly offered to show me where the restaurant was if I didn’t mind, and since they could seat me right away, I ended up having dinner there. As I was dining alone, I asked the staff about portion sizes while ordering, and it turned into a truly delicious and happy meal.The Room was just the right size, so I could relax and recover. The next morning I took it easy as well. I got some cake and bread to take out and went to a friend’s Hotel where they were staying to eat them, and they were so good that I regretted not having breakfast here.I’m sure I’ll stay here again next time!

    Overall, it was a very comfortable Hotel.The Executive Lounge in particular is excellent.Comfortable seating, good food, wonderful staff, and a great view.Breakfast at the 1st-floor restaurant gets crowded, but the lounge is quiet. The lounge’s French toast is delicious.Most guests are international. The Room also has a Kyoto feel, and I recommend it for those who want to relax and spend time in the Hotel.I will come again. Thank you very much.
