■ Cuisine At the restaurant adjacent to the VILLA, we offer both dinner and breakfast inspired by the nature of Hokkaido and Eastern Hokkaido. Enjoy exclusive dishes at TAPKOP, crafted with Hokkaido ingredients such as horsehair crab, Ezo abalone, Kinki fish, and organic beef—personally selected by our chef from local producers—and infused with elements of Chinese cuisine. *Ingredients are seasonal and may vary depending on availability. ■ Accommodation A completely private space with only one villa (266 sqm) on an expansive 30,055 sqm property. The premises consist solely of the accommodation villa and a restaurant building. During your stay, TAPKOP becomes a space exclusively for you. Take a stroll through the spacious garden, lie down on the grass, enjoy an outdoor air bath after a sauna session in the forest atmosphere, or watch movies via projector while sipping wine—the choice is yours at TAPKOP. Relax and savor your time together at your own pace.

    Simply the best in every way.

    I discovered TAPKOP online by chance and decided to visit Eastern Hokkaido for the first time just to stay here. Nestled on the shores of Lake Kussharo amidst untouched nature, this incredibly stylish accommodation is a masterpiece. Designed by a London architectural design studio, every detail, including the faucets and fixtures, exudes sophistication! And above all, the food is outstanding!! The chef's creative Chinese cuisine is absolutely exquisite. When I mentioned my love for wine, they went out of their way to procure a vintage wine (Château Pape Clément 2002) from a liquor store for our second dinner. The drinks were also fantastic... I was so satisfied that I would return to Eastern Hokkaido just to dine at TAPKOP again. Even considering airfare, it’s much more affordable compared to luxury hotels or ryokans in the Kanto region! I’ve already made an accommodation reservation for February when we can see drift ice. It seems like trips to Eastern Hokkaido might become a regular tradition for our family (so hopefully it doesn’t get too famous and hard to book—haha).
