    The service was very thoughtful. The Room was extremely clean, and the amenities were well stocked. It is also very close to Narita Airport, making it highly convenient. This time I used Narita for an early morning flight, so my stay was short, but I would like to relax and spend more time here next time.

  • I have been visiting every year during cherry blossom season for the past few years.

    For the past few years, we’ve visited every year during cherry blossom season. This stay was comfortable as well, and my family was very pleased. The Room is clean, the amenities are well stocked, and the bath is relaxing. It would be even better if there were an Onsen or a sauna, but I know that’s probably asking too much.All of the staff are courteous, so we can stay with peace of mind. We had both dinner and breakfast, and they beautifully incorporate a sense of the season and a local Chiba touch—truly enjoyable for both the eyes and the palate. It seems many guests stay without dinner here, but I think it’s definitely worth having.We’d love to visit again if we have the chance. Prices seem to have gone up quite a bit recently, but I hope they don’t become so expensive that it’s out of reach (lol). Thank you very much.

    “September Pilgrimage Recommendation”
    In Narita, there is an old tradition known as Shogoku (the 1st, 5th, and 9th months), which says that visiting the shrine/temple in January, May, or September brings even greater blessings than in other months. September is also a season filled with events where you can experience Narita’s history and culture, and the whole town is wrapped in a solemn yet lively atmosphere.
    Please come and visit Narita as autumn begins to arrive.

    When you visit, one of the highlights is strolling along Naritasan Omotesando—about 800 meters from the nearest stations (Keisei-Narita Station / JR Narita Station) to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple—lined with long-established eel restaurants as well as a mix of classic and modern eateries and souvenir shops.

    ■ Sogo Reido Omatoyo Festival
    Dates: Saturday, September 5 & Sunday, September 6 Location: Sogo Reido
    At Sogo Reido, special Buddhist services will be held including a Kaicho (special opening) and a ceremonial chanting of all 600 volumes of the Daihannya-kyo sutra. The sound of sutra recitation echoing through the quiet grounds will calm your mind and offer a deeply prayerful moment.
    ■ The 13th Narita Traditional Performing Arts Festival
    Dates: Saturday, September 26 & Sunday, September 27 Location: Naritasan Omotesando
    Traditional performing arts groups from within and outside the prefecture gather to present a wide variety of festivals and dances. With Omotesando as the stage, these two days are filled with energy and color unique to Narita. Enjoy time-honored performing arts culture as you explore the area.
    ■ Shaito Dai-Goma Fire Ritual
    Date: Sunday, September 27 Location: Naritasan Shinshoji Temple
    This is a traditional outdoor goma fire ritual performed by yamabushi mountain ascetics. A sacred altar is set up outdoors for prayers for wishes to be fulfilled. Watching the flames rise toward the sky is an unforgettable experience that conveys both power and sanctity unique to Naritasan.

    “Naritasan Park Autumn Leaves Festival”
    Saturday, November 14, 2026 – Sunday, November 29, 2026
    Concerts and tea ceremonies will be held on seven days in total: Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays during the festival period.
    Around 250 trees—including Japanese maple, konara oak, nara oak, and ginkgo—typically begin turning red and yellow from mid-November through early December. The reflections on the pond create an elegant scene that makes time feel slower; along the sloping walking paths, you can enjoy ever-changing views with every step.
