  • Great views from the rooftop and open-air bath

    When I opened the IKYU website, the first Hotel that caught my eye left a strong impression with its view from the Room. After seeing the rooftop view on the Hotel’s official website, I felt I wanted to stay there. Later, I made a Reservation because I liked the hideaway-like layout of the Annex on the first floor.We were blessed with great weather and truly enjoyed the wonderful scenery. I would like to come again next year.

  • A truly luxurious Ryokan with exceptional hospitality.

    This was our second stay since last year.We were impressed last year as well, but this year we truly enjoyed an even more relaxing time thanks to the wonderful hospitality of the staff.Of course, the cuisine was also top-class Kyoto kaiseki.We will be back again during the Obon holidays next year.We are truly grateful.
