La Vista Kusatsu Hills (Kyoritsu Resort)

Gunma Prefecture/Kusatsu Town

A resort featuring a scenic-view bath and four types of private open-air baths, where you can fully enjoy the hot springs of Kusatsu.

A Resort Hotel named Lavista (meaning "view") has opened on a hill slightly away from the central area of Kusatsu Onsen. This is the first facility in Kusatsu Onsen to feature a top-floor panoramic Onsen bath and four unique private Onsen baths, all free of charge, where you can enjoy two types of hot springs, including the famous Yubatake source. Additionally, all guest rooms are equipped with private open-air Onsen baths, allowing you to indulge in the "Yukawa no Yu" spring, different from the panoramic bath. On the top floor, the panoramic lounge offers inclusive services such as draft beer after a bath, an amenity buffet that delights women, and light snacks, tailored to different times of the day from check-in to check-out. For dinner, savor a carefully selected Western-style course meal.

  • It was a very beautiful Hotel with great service, and I felt the staff’s hospitality and attentiveness were wonderful. The in-room open-air bath was also excellent!I think guests would be even happier if there were direct access from the shower room to the open-air bath. The distance is short, but I couldn’t help worrying about water dripping while moving around when wet, so with a little improvement it would be perfect. For guests, dining is also an important point, and it was very good!I also posted photos—late-night ramen was delicious, especially the tomato ramen recommended by the staff. It’s a Hotel that made me want to visit again after a long time.To all staff members (including makeup and bed-making), thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

  • This was our first trip to Kusatsu, and we stayed here. The Reviews were great, so we arrived with high expectations—and it truly lived up to them! The Room was spacious, and having the bath and toilet separate was a real plus.We wondered if Kusatsu’s hot spring water might be good for skin and hair. My spouse and I both have sensitive skin, but we didn’t feel itchy at all—our skin felt moisturized, and our hair became soft and smooth too! What made it even better was the wonderful group of guests. We were able to relax in a calm atmosphere. We also really enjoyed the food—both the dinner course and the breakfast buffet were delicious. We also appreciated the lounge food and drinks that changed throughout the day.If I could make one request, I would be happy if the slippers were disposable. This is a Hotel we’d love to visit again. Thank you very much!
