A Resort Hotel named Lavista (meaning "view") has opened on a hill slightly away from the central area of Kusatsu Onsen. This is the first facility in Kusatsu Onsen to feature a top-floor panoramic Onsen bath and four unique private Onsen baths, all free of charge, where you can enjoy two types of hot springs, including the famous Yubatake source. Additionally, all guest rooms are equipped with private open-air Onsen baths, allowing you to indulge in the "Yukawa no Yu" spring, different from the panoramic bath. KURBIO is a name derived from the combination of the German word "KUR," meaning "healing, recovery, treatment," and the Greek word "BIOS," meaning "life." KUR is often associated with Kurhaus (a Facility for therapeutic and recuperative purposes, often featuring an Onsen), and BIO is commonly heard in recent years in the context of macrobiotics (a dietary approach translated as "the art of longevity").
