  Highly recommended, with repeat visits.

  Stay in a detached accommodation. Enjoyed a soak in the hinoki bath before dinner. Initially felt slightly underwhelmed, but after bathing again post-dinner and the next morning, the blend of the water and hinoki tub became very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was top-class in taste and extremely satisfying. Highly recommended as an accommodation when visiting Munakata Taisha or Mekari Shrine. Thank you for your excellent hospitality!

  Dinner is...

  I chose to reserve your Hotel because my husband wanted a room where we could enjoy in-room dining. We were very excited as it had been a while since we last experienced in-room dining. The large guest room, registered as a cultural property, heightened our expectations. However, the dinner was not served dish by dish but rather felt like pre-prepared dishes were placed on the table all at once. Even the appetizer plate came with its frame still attached when placed on the table. We had informed beforehand about wanting hot sake during dinner, but it arrived 30 minutes before mealtime. After explaining and having it taken back, when it was finally served during dinner, it tasted like reheated sake that had already cooled down. Given this experience with dinner, I didn’t have high hopes for breakfast; however, the buffet breakfast turned out to be delicious. Therefore, I rated meals as 2 and overall satisfaction as 3. The staff provided detailed explanations about the Hotel and Kokura’s culture such as Kokura Shima-shima fabric which made our stay enjoyable aside from the meals.

  Spacious...

  I had been interested in it for a long time, but I never had the opportunity to stay. This time, there was a vacancy at the last minute, and my dream finally came true. It was spacious and I was able to relax. It was quiet, and I slept soundly. The private WC with Chopin playing was an exquisite experience.
