Renovated from the former Kita Residence (“Kyu-Kita-tei”) along Hachiman-bori—Japan’s first area designated as an Important Cultural Landscape—this property has been reborn as a culinary Ryokan with three separate buildings. While preserving its Edo-period character, “Kyu-Kita-tei” offers private, independent spaces themed around wood and stone.
