In April 2021, as a Hotel perched atop the station building adjacent to JR Kumamoto Station's Shirakawa Exit (East Exit), the entire Hotel was designed with the concept of "Kumamoto Goten" to become a new symbol of Kumamoto. Stepping inside, you will be greeted by numerous lanterns inspired by the Yamaga Thousand Lanterns, scattering a warm "light," and you can feel the Kumamoto sky spreading out as the backdrop of the glass-walled lobby. The Hotel offers a variety of Facilities to ensure a fulfilling stay, including guest rooms averaging over 27 square meters inspired by Kumamoto's nature, a large public bath adorned with stone and natural elements, a fitness area illuminated by skylights, and dining at a restaurant that uses an abundance of ingredients sourced from Kyushu.

    As it was my first stay, the parking area and the route from the parking area to the lobby were a bit difficult to find, but it was a very satisfying Hotel. The Room size was just right, and above all, its cleanliness was what I found most satisfying. It also felt luxurious and made me feel like I was wealthy. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to use again.

  • It was comfortable.

    I booked a Premium Twin for a Multiple Night Stay.The room was very clean and comfortable.The only thing I wished for was a bathrobe.Breakfast leaned a bit toward Japanese cuisine, and there was no knife-and-fork set, which was slightly disappointing for me.Since it is rated four-star, I think it would have been nice to have at least table napkins.It has the best location in Kumamoto, and I look forward to further improvements in service.

1. Exit the ticket gates at Kumamoto Station and proceed left toward the Shirakawa Exit.
2. Walk straight ahead with the ticket gates and Midori-no-Madoguchi on your left and Higo Yoka Mon Market on your right.
3. After exiting from the Shirakawa Exit, you will see Amu Plaza Kumamoto on your right.
　The Hotel entrance is at the far right end of the building on the 1st floor.
4. You will see a “THE BLOSSOM KUMAMOTO” sign in front of you—continue straight ahead.
5. Go through the doors and proceed to the end of the corridor; a direct elevator to the Hotel will be on your left.
6. Take the elevator to the 9th floor (lobby floor). With the courtyard in front of you, proceed to the right to reach Reception.
