Following the opening of “ONSEN RYOKAN YUEN Shinjuku” in Shinjuku, Tokyo in 2019, this is an Onsen Hotel Ryokan with open-air baths that opened in Sapporo, Hokkaido in August 2020. We offer an open-air Onsen bath supplied with hot spring water transported from the source at Karurusu Onsen (Noboribetsu City, Hokkaido), along with carefully selected ingredients from across Hokkaido. The concept of “ONSEN RYOKAN YUEN” is to “reimagine the essence of a Ryokan.” We refine the appeal of a Ryokan into spaces and services that are more accessible for urban travelers and international guests. Experience Hokkaido’s culture and Japanese hospitality, and enjoy a soothing moment of relaxation.

  • The perfect accommodation to soothe your travel fatigue.

    I stayed here after a long drive. I visited on a weekday in early September, and the Onsen wasn’t too crowded, so I was able to relax and take my time. The sauna and cold bath were both great, and I felt perfectly refreshed. The bed was spacious enough, and the Room was clean and well maintained. After being on the go all day, staying at this Accommodation really helped me recharge. Breakfast was very luxurious for the morning, and it was the perfect start to the day. I wanted to enjoy a morning bath again, so I asked for an extra bath towel at reception. I expected there would be a charge, but they lent it to me for free. This is an Accommodation full of hospitality, and I’d like to stay here again when I visit Sapporo.

  • We stayed here for a family trip.

    My parents (77 and 76) and my sister (54) came from Niigata, and our couple (51 and 49) with our child (10)—six of us in total—stayed for 3 nights/4 days, booking two triple Rooms. (Stay: Tue, July 21, 2026 – Fri, July 24, 2026)Since it was our first time in Hokkaido and we wanted to go out to various places for dinner, we chose the plan with breakfast only each day.Because we stayed three nights, you prepared a different special menu every morning, and we were truly touched by your thoughtfulness. Everything was delicious (including robatayaki grilled king crab in the morning), and our whole family was extremely satisfied.Even my parents—who usually don’t eat much breakfast—praised it highly and even had three extra bowls of rice!The property was very clean as well, and for this price the overall quality—including the food—was outstanding.If we have a chance to come to Hokkaido again, we would definitely like to stay here again. (I’d love to recommend it to friends too!)Thank you for giving us such wonderful travel memories.
