Opened in 2021, this family and group-friendly Hotel is located in Kyoto's new and trending area, "Umekoji." It is just one stop from JR "Kyoto" Station on the Sagano Line and about a 1-minute walk from "Umekoji-Kyotonishi" Station. Within walking distance, you will find the nature-rich Umekoji Park, the Kyoto Railway Museum, and the Kyoto Aquarium, allowing families and friends to enjoy a relaxing stay. The Rooms are designed for comfort, featuring mainly twin Rooms and options for up to three guests, making it ideal for families and groups.

    In February, this was my third stay here.The front desk staff are as kind and courteous as ever, making check-in pleasant and giving me the feeling of coming back to a second home.In addition to the lotion and cream I receive at every check-in, I was also given a mini lip balm.The large public bath is available from 15:00, and you can check how crowded it is on the in-room TV, so it’s great to go when it’s quiet. (You can also check the coin laundry.)There were many international guests, but most seemed to follow good manners.When I requested cleaning while I was out, everything was cleaned perfectly—thank you very much.I look forward to staying with you again when I visit Kyoto.

  • Just one stop from Kyoto Station, yet very quiet.

    As soon as you exit Umekoji-Nishi Station, the Hotel is right in front of you, making getting there very smooth. There’s also a convenience store on the first floor, which is very handy. The Room was clean and the amenities were more than sufficient. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and I think both Japanese and Western choices will satisfy everyone. There was also a large public bath, but this time I used the bathroom in my Room. I’d like to try it next time.There are also a nearby park, aquarium, and railway museum, so it’s recommended for families—children can play safely and relax. It’s just one stop from Kyoto Station, yet it was quiet at night, which was great. I’d like to stay here again.
