  • The moment I entered the building at check-in, the stylish lobby raised my expectations. The Room we were shown was not only chic with a modern Japanese design, but also spacious and relaxing. Some Accommodations look great but have cheap furniture; here, the furnishings felt high-quality and thoughtfully chosen, which made it even more comfortable. The in-room bath was fed directly from the hot spring source, and the washing area was spacious—there was no need to use the large public bath. I ended up bathing four times in one night. Even details like the hair dryer and shampoo amenities showed careful attention. The meals were excellent, especially dinner. Using local ingredients, every dish was creative, original, and delicious. There aren’t many Accommodations that truly make me want to return, but this one did. The staff were also very pleasant.

  • The in-Room bath had free-flowing hot spring water with plenty of volume, and we really enjoyed it. The lounge offered drinks, snacks, and ice cream, and the service was great. However, perhaps because the building is wooden, we could hear some noise from next door or the floor above. Also, getting to the dining area and the large public bath requires a fair amount of walking, which might be a bit tough for older guests. The staff were energetic and helpful. We had a comfortable stay—thank you very much.
