Hotel Monterey Kobe

The Room was spacious, thoroughly cleaned, and pleasantly spotless.It was great to be able to use the large public bath at the Hotel, and I appreciated that the in-room shower was a Mirable—it was a thoughtful touch.The front desk staff were polite, and their smiles were wonderful.Although it was a last-minute stay, I was able to relax comfortably and was very satisfied.Ikuta Shrine is right next door, and it’s close to both Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station, so I think it’s also ideal for sightseeing in Kobe.

Conveniently located near Kobe-Sannomiya Station, with Ikuta Shrine nearby, and Nankinmachi and Meriken Park within walking distance. The exterior looks like a European-style building, and inside the lobby is spacious with high ceilings, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Welcome drinks are available both before check-in and after check-out. The Room is spacious and kept clean, and mineral drinks are also provided. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a unit bath, but there is a large public bath. Since it was the Obon holiday period and there were many guests, the large public bath was crowded. Despite the number of guest rooms, the large public bath is small, with only seven washing stations. You can check congestion on the TV, but even when it appeared to be uncrowded, it was still busy when I went. Breakfast lived up to its reputation: there was a wide variety of options and everything was very delicious. I was especially happy that the bread was from DONQ with many choices. I also enjoyed the desserts thoroughly. Overall, I was very satisfied except for the bathing facilities.
