Our Property features two types of natural hot springs: "Golden Onsen" and "Private Source Onsen." There are two large communal baths, private baths exclusively for the annex, and open-air baths in every guest room of the main building. It is rare to find a Property where you can enjoy the famous "Golden Onsen" in a private open-air bath attached to your room, and even rarer to find one where you can enjoy a scenic view from the bath. Take advantage of our location, away from the hustle and bustle of the Onsen town, and indulge in a luxurious moment as you listen to the chirping of birds, the murmuring of the river, and admire the seasonal beauty of the surrounding mountains.
We stayed here for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday.The Room was clean, the view was great, and it was very comfortable.Every staff member greeted us with a smile, and we were impressed throughout.Above all, the food was outstanding.We were amazed by the live ice cream presentation, the live rolled-omelet presentation, and two surprise dishes that weren’t even on the menu.Everything was truly delicious, beautifully presented, and the decorative vegetable carvings were adorable.As someone who doesn’t eat much, I couldn’t finish it because it was so filling—so even big eaters will be satisfied with the portion size.There were also many kinds of drinks available with unlimited refills, and we really felt their warm hospitality.We would love to come again!Thank you for such wonderful memories!
無類の海老好き 8/29/2026This was our fourth stay including Hatago, and each time we have chosen a different type of Room, enjoying a truly wonderful time. Every Room has its own character, and this one was spacious; the private open-air kinsen bath attached to the Room was also very comfortable. It was such a lovely stay that I’m already looking forward to returning and wondering when we can visit again.The cuisine, which has always been delicious, felt even more refined—beautiful to look at, enticing, and deeply satisfying. Watching the chefs finish the dishes right in front of us and being able to speak with the kitchen staff directly was a delight. At breakfast, I asked all sorts of questions about how to make dashimaki tamago properly (something I never manage well), and although I may have been a bother, they kindly taught me tips in detail—I was truly impressed.My husband has an egg allergy and had avoided eggs for many years despite loving them; however, he recently found that he is fine as long as they are not raw. When we mentioned this, you cooked them thoroughly for him, and he happily finished everything.Also, when I noted at the time of Reservation that it was a birthday trip, you prepared a beautiful watermelon garnish with celebratory lettering. We were touched by everyone’s thoughtful attention to detail, and we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.P.S. Legendary chef Tadamichi Ota, who triumphed in a renowned cooking competition TV show, presents innovative dishes that delight both the eyes and the palate. Experience a new wave of Japanese cuisine that redefines traditional kaiseki.
Onsen
We offer two types of Onsen sources: the "Golden Onsen" of Arima Onsen, Japan's oldest Onsen, and our own natural alkaline Onsen, which is popular among repeat guests for its smooth and skin-friendly properties. Our Property features two large public baths (Golden Onsen open-air bath / indoor bath with our own Onsen source / sauna). All rooms in the main building are equipped with private open-air baths, offering a view of the Yusugatani Mountain in the Arima Sanzan range. (*Please note that the annex does not have baths in the guest rooms. Guests staying in the annex can enjoy the large public baths and private Golden Onsen open-air baths or indoor baths with mineral-rich water from Mt. Rokko. Reservations for these are required at check-in.) At the post-bath relaxation area, we also provide complimentary cold ice cream and beverages for your enjoyment.
Room
The Rooms in the main building feature terraces where you can enjoy the changing seasons of Yusou Valley Mountain and private open-air baths, offering a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Arima's Onsen town. Enjoy the unique serenity of our Property and the stunning views of the Rokko Mountain range right before your eyes. The annex is recommended for guests who wish to enjoy our Property at a more reasonable price. While the Rooms in the annex do not have baths or terraces, the meals provided are just as plentiful and satisfying as those served to guests staying in the main building. Both the main building and the annex provide Rooms equipped with coffee machines, beverages, and snacks. Amenities are offered in a variety of Japanese-patterned drawstring pouches, which you are welcome to take home as a keepsake.

Throughout the property, there are gourd motifs in various places. Try counting how many gourds you can find. In the lobby, we offer drip coffee, beverages, and snacks available for enjoyment at any time. Additionally, outside the lobby terrace, there is a foot bath exclusively for our property guests.
