All rooms and open-air baths offer stunning ocean views at this ocean resort.

Wakayama Onsen Ryokan, Wakanoura Onsen [MANPA RESORT MANPA] New Wakanoura is said to have the "most beautiful coastline in Japan," offering a stunning 270-degree ocean view from every room. From our proud open-air bath, you can enjoy the night view of Wakayama Marina City and the fishing lights, adding a touch of travel charm. Our cuisine, featuring "fresh seafood" delivered daily directly from the port, is highly praised. You can also enjoy innovative courses using Kishu's traditional methods like "ash drying" and "wood-fired grilling," a first in the industry! Easily accessible: 90 minutes by car from Osaka, 1 hour by express train from Namba, or 20 minutes by bus from Nankai Wakayama City Station or JR Wakayama Station.

  • Blessed with great weather, I was completely refreshed in both body and mind by the relaxing Onsen, the warm hospitality of the Hotel staff, and above all the delicious meals, including conger eel. While enjoying the soothing view of Waka-no-ura below, it was a modest one-night trip, but it became a cherished memory.

  • After completing the Reservation, I saw it featured on TV and was really looking forward to my stay. All the Accommodation staff were cheerful, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I appreciated the welcome drink and the complimentary drinks in the café lounge. The food was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. I would definitely like to stay again.
