Although the building is old, it is very well cleaned and the hospitality is excellent, so I think this is an Accommodation you can be truly satisfied with. It was also fun and nostalgic to be able to contact the front desk using a telephone you don’t see these days—perhaps making good use of the property’s vintage charm.One small thing: the yukata brought to me because the size didn’t fit had a slight odor that concerned me a bit. That said, I may simply be overly sensitive.In any case, the service is outstanding, and every staff member provided wonderful hospitality. I was deeply impressed by their thoughtful attention to detail. By chance there was a festival that day and we were able to watch fireworks; they even told us the best viewing spot, which made it a great memory. Thank you very much.As for the meals, the rice was cooked perfectly and delicious. The side dishes were excellent as well, but especially how good the rice was stood out. One suggestion: if the green onions in the breakfast miso soup could be lightly cooked in advance, then warming it at the table would make it even tastier—I felt they sometimes didn’t cook through enough with table heating alone. Still, overall everything was extremely delicious.This is an Accommodation I will definitely want to stay at again when I visit Kaminoyama Onsen.

It was a cozy, home-like Accommodation.The Room also had a private indoor bath, so we could soak whenever we liked and truly relax; both the cuisine and the tableware were a delight, making our stay very fulfilling.At night, perhaps because there were few streetlights, we could see the stars beautifully.In the morning, the view of Mt. Gassan and the surrounding mountains from the indoor bath was wonderful, and it made me think that Kaminoyama Onsen might actually mean “Onsen of the Gods’ Mountain.”
