Ureshino Onsen, cherished as a post town since the Edo period. Wataiya Bessou originated from a rest house used by the Shimazu Satsuma clan traveling along the Nagasaki Kaido. Today, Wataiya Bessou is situated on a spacious 30,000-tsubo property along the gently flowing Ureshino River. The detached guest rooms "Suimeisou" at Wataiya Bessou feature hinoki wood baths in every room. Relax and enjoy the proximity to the Ureshino River.
