HOTEL HOLIDAY HOME is located in Kumihama, at the western base of the Tango Peninsula. While it is not an area surrounded by famous tourist attractions, it offers a stunning setting blessed with nature, nestled between the sea and the mountains.
We stayed here for the first time during the autumn Silver Week for a Multiple Night Stay.Thanks to IKYU, we were able to discover this wonderful Hotel. The natural surroundings are beautiful, the architecture and interiors are excellent, the staff’s smiles are warm, and the dishes at the restaurant are beautifully presented—truly the best hidden retreat Hotel unique to Kumihama.Next time, I hope we can make a Reservation for spring Golden Week, so I plan to check IKYU’s site carefully.To everyone at Holiday Home, thank you very much for your kind hospitality.
When I suddenly decided to take a refreshing break, this Accommodation was the first place that came to mind. Luckily there was availability, so I stayed for two nights.I traveled alone and requested the Shuttle Service to the nearest station. When I stepped off at the station, I was shocked by the intense humidity—but my Room had been set to a comfortable temperature, which showed such thoughtful care.This Room was the perfect size for a solo stay, and the chair was incredibly comfortable—so much so that I wished I had one at home. During my stay, I spent most of my time relaxing right there. Dinner from the autumn menu was, as always, beautifully prepared and delicious, featuring seasonal ingredients such as chestnuts, sand-dune sweet potatoes (Sakyu-imo), and swimming crab. What I especially love about the cuisine here is how outstanding the soups are, and how even vegetable dishes preserve each ingredient’s natural flavor—reminding me what they truly taste like. This time I also had lunch and was completely satisfied.The staff were wonderfully attentive, making it a truly refreshing stay—to the point that if only the weather had been better, I would have considered staying one more night.As we head into a season with even more delicious offerings available, I can’t wait to visit again. It’s a lovely Accommodation where you can truly unwind.

To help you unwind away from the hustle and bustle, HOTEL HOLIDAY HOME has only six guest rooms. Enjoy a truly refreshing stay as you listen to birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze.
Kyotango City is blessed with both seafood and mountain produce. We serve simple, home-style dishes made with plenty of locally caught seafood and fresh local vegetables. Enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace in a calm setting, featuring a Suwa Teppei-stone roof and flooring and views of the surrounding woods outside the windows.

To eliminate steps within the Facility, we provide a portable ramp. If you need it, please let us know in advance.
In addition, the restaurant “Reception Garden” has a wheelchair-accessible multipurpose restroom.

After that, take Prefectural Route 727, National Route 426, and National Route 312 via Toyooka, then National Route 178 to Kumihama.
Approx. 40 minutes from Toyooka Izushi IC.
