A Ryokan with only 4 rooms for adults, nestled in the hidden retreat of Kyoto, "Hanase no Sato," offering wild herb cuisine.

After driving for about an hour, you will reach a deep mountain valley where you can experience the beauty and unique charm of a remote countryside. Established in 1895 as the lodging for the Hōjōji Temple on Mount Daibizan in the depths of Kurama, Kyoto. Quietly nestled in a secluded mountain valley, our property accommodates only four groups per day. Enjoy exquisite dishes prepared with seasonal wildflowers, fresh vegetables, and fish.
