In 2013, we celebrated our 80th anniversary with a full renovation and grand reopening. Passing through the Sukiya-style gate, you will find a small courtyard garden in the heart of the city. Walk along the fan-shaped stone path while feeling the energy of the dragon-inspired stone arrangement. Enjoy the view of "Shoryu Tenyu no Niwa," a garden designed by Master Yuzan Nakamura, as you make your way to our lobby filled with the gentle fragrance of incense.
Even with the same ingredients and utensils, the resulting dish can vary greatly depending on the creator. By envisioning the utensils as Kyoto and the ingredients as the seasons, and adding heart and skill... We strive to create dishes that shine like jewels, aiming to hear our customers say, 'I came back because I wanted to taste it again.'
Matsui Original Label Junmai Ginjo sake features hand-written labels on each bottle.
Traditional and modern elements harmoniously meet to create a comfortable space. Each Room offers a sense of Japanese style, allowing you to relax completely.
Passing through the hot spring curtain... there are two large baths. Hana no Yu and Taki no Yu, both are bathing spaces with sophisticated designs. Enjoy the view of the small garden in the town and follow the flow of the waterfall while experiencing a moment of tranquility. The ever-flowing well water warms even the heart.

1) By Taxi (Approximately 10 minutes, around 1,000 yen)
Please tell the driver, "Yanaginobamba Rokkaku Sagaru, Matsui Honkan."
2) By Subway (Approx. 6 minutes ride)
Take the train bound for Kokusaikaikan and get off at the third station, Karasuma Oike Station. Use the South Exit, unmanned gate Exit 5.
■ From Hankyu Railway (Hankyu Railway is the most convenient from Osaka)
Get off at Karasuma Station (Express trains also stop here). Use Exit 13. Proceed east from Kyoto Daimaru, and at the northwest corner → Turn left at Starbucks Coffee, then walk straight north for 300m. It will be on your right.
■ From Meishin Expressway
1) From the Minami Interchange Exit
Exit Minami Interchange and head into Kyoto City (approximately 30 minutes). Go north on Route 1 for 2km, turn right at Kujo Street (in front of Toji Temple), and head east for about 1km
→ Turn left onto Route 1 (Horikawa Street), turn right onto Shijo Street, turn left onto Karasuma Street, and turn right at the third street, Rokkaku Street.
