About "Mikiya"
The building was constructed in 1927 (with some parts built in the 1940s) and is a wooden structure. The East Wing, where the entrance is located, is a rare three-story wooden building.
There is no elevator in the building. Rooms are available on the first floor, so please feel free to contact us if you wish.
Due to the traditional wooden structure, sounds from downstairs or next door may be slightly noticeable.
We kindly ask for your understanding and consideration.
■ With an 11 a.m. checkout, you can leisurely prepare for your journey in the morning.
■ To ensure your comfort, staff will not enter your Room except during guidance and futon laying, unless requested.
■ After breakfast, you may continue to relax on your futon. If you wish to have the futon put away, please inform the staff.
■ To preserve the charm of the wooden structure and ensure a peaceful stay, we only accommodate children of elementary school age and above. We appreciate your understanding.
■ You can enjoy strolling around town in a yukata, choosing from a variety of patterns (approximately 20 for women, 3 for men).
■ Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby.
