A heartwarming Onsen accommodation located about a 3-minute walk from Yubatake, offering two different hot spring sources to enjoy.
Kusatsu Onsen has long been known as one of Japan’s finest hot springs and remains a lively, popular destination for visitors. In the Onsen townscape, where traces of the Edo period still linger, steam rising from the Yubatake drifts through the streets, creating an authentic Onsen atmosphere. With convenient access via the Shinkansen and expressways, a wide range of sightseeing routes can be planned, and Kusatsu also serves as a central hub. “Mukashigokoro no Accommodation Kanemidori” is a welcoming Accommodation with 120 years of history that cherishes the spirit and warmth of bygone days.

ゲスト 4/7/2026This accommodation offers exceptional hospitality, treating guests with great care and attention. Meals are served in the dining area, and staff kindly see you off at the exit after each meal. Even during check-out, cleaning staff pause their work to bid farewell until the elevator doors close, showcasing thoughtful service that makes you glad to have chosen this accommodation. The ryokan was renovated in 2021 and features a stylish modern Japanese design. While there are no surprising activities or facilities, it allows you to fully enjoy a relaxing time at Kusatsu Onsen and within the accommodation itself.
