Measures Against COVID-19 at Souan Cosmos Thank you for your continued patronage. At "Souan Cosmos," we prioritize the safety and peace of mind of our guests and staff. We are implementing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. ■ About the Facility ■ - Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are placed throughout the Facility (front desk, lobby lounge, dining areas, changing rooms). Please cooperate with hand sanitization. - Regular space disinfection is conducted using hypochlorous acid water spray. - We ensure constant ventilation in public spaces such as the lobby lounge and restaurant, as well as during cleaning and turnover of Rooms, Onsen facilities, and private dining areas. - In addition to regular cleaning, we thoroughly disinfect and wipe down frequently touched surfaces (tables, chairs, stair railings, doorknobs, switches, remote controls, toilet levers, telephones, etc.) with sodium hypochlorite. - Hypochlorous acid water, which has minimal impact on the human body, is used to disinfect children's toys and bedding. - Self-service beverages in the lobby lounge are temporarily unavailable. ■ About Meals ■ - Dining options include "private dining rooms," "in-Room dining," "adults-only restaurant," and "kids' restaurant," which can be selected as part of your Plan. For the time being, the "adults-only restaurant" and "kids' restaurant" will be limited to one group each. - Private dining rooms will be used for both breakfast and dinner. - To minimize close contact, staff will reduce the number of times they serve dishes during meals. ■ About Onsen Facilities ■ - For the time being, in addition to the two "family baths (private baths)" in the Facility, the "gender-segregated large baths" will also be available by Reservation only. Reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis at the front desk during check-in. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your preferences. - Cleaning will be conducted after each guest's use. Please cooperate by using the facilities within your reserved time to avoid inconveniencing the next guest. - Detached Rooms are equipped with private open-air Onsen baths with 100% natural hot spring water and shower rooms. ■ About Staff ■ - Staff are required to wear masks and thoroughly wash hands, gargle, and sanitize with alcohol after arriving at work, returning from outside, during breaks, and between customer interactions. - Staff undergo temperature checks and health monitoring. Those with a fever of 37.5°C or higher, cough, sore throat, fatigue, or cold symptoms are prohibited from working. - Staff are also prohibited from working if cohabitants exhibit symptoms such as a fever of 37.5°C or higher, cough, sore throat, fatigue, or cold symptoms. ■ Requests to Guests ■ - We kindly ask for your cooperation in taking your temperature the day before or on the day of your visit. If you have a fever of 37.5°C or higher, cough, sore throat, fatigue, or other symptoms, please refrain from visiting. Regarding cancellations, while Cancellation Fees typically apply from 7 days prior to the Reservation date, cancellations due to health issues will not incur fees, even on the day of the Reservation. However, this does not apply to no-shows without prior notice. We are happy to accommodate requests to Change the Reservation date. Please feel free to consult us if you have any concerns. - During check-in, we will ask you to undergo a temperature check and fill out a questionnaire. - If you feel unwell during your stay, please contact the front desk by phone. Thermometers are available upon request. The above measures will be reviewed and updated as necessary to ensure appropriate responses.
