    A relaxing stay with both Japanese and Western cuisine Seasonal ingredients were used to great effect, with excellent flavor and variety, and everything was clean and comfortable. All staff were genuinely attentive and helped us whenever we needed assistance. You can take a walk around the grounds, and in the guest lounge we enjoyed reading with complimentary coffee while taking in the view of Mt. Bandai—truly a wonderful time. With easy access to Goshikinuma Ponds, this is a Hotel we would definitely like to visit again.

  • A Hotel with an Excellent Location and Comfort in Every Detail

    The location is simply outstanding. From anywhere on the property, I could see Mt. Bandai beyond Yairoku Pond, and I was moved again and again.In addition, the service, dinner and breakfast, open-air bath, cleanliness, and the lounge’s ease of use were all excellent and comfortable. I’m glad I chose Urabandai Kogen Hotel for my commemorative trip. The nature that changes with each season must be wonderful as well, so next time I’d love to visit in a different season.Thank you very much.

  • Urabandai Kogen Hotel Announces the “Inawashiro New Soba Fair 2026”

    As autumn arrives, the season for freshly harvested soba is just around the corner. At Urabandai Kogen Hotel, we will be holding our first-ever “Inawashiro Fresh Soba Fair 2026” from November 12, 2026, offering a taste of autumn at dinner.

    Inawashiro Town, nestled between Mt. Bandai and Lake Inawashiro, is known for its flavorful soba thanks to crisp day–night temperature differences and pure water. During this fair, you can enjoy fragrant new-season soba available only at this time of year with your dinner.

    A highlight is the carefully crafted fresh soba made by Master Watanabe, also the chairman of the Inawashiro Handcrafted Soba Association. Made with “gobiki” flour—milled using only the core of the buckwheat grain—these noodles are beautifully pale and translucent. They are also cut thinner than usual for an exceptionally smooth texture and easy-to-enjoy finish.

    Savor the clear beauty and refined aroma unique to gobiki soba, along with local dishes featuring buckwheat flour—an authentic seasonal taste you won’t want to miss.
