Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 At Kichijo CAREN, we prioritize the health and safety of our guests and have strengthened the following preventive hygiene measures to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation. 1. Preventive Measures and Health Management for Staff All staff undergo temperature checks, health monitoring, and thorough handwashing, gargling, and hand sanitization before starting work. Additionally, staff wear masks while providing services. 2. Installation of Disinfectant Solutions Alcohol-based disinfectants are placed throughout the Hotel, including at the entrance, front desk, lobby, restrooms, and restaurant entrances. We kindly ask for your cooperation in sanitizing your hands upon entering the premises. 3. Ventilation of Indoor Areas Ventilation is conducted every two hours for approximately one hour between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Please note that indoor temperatures may not always be maintained at optimal levels. 【Ventilation Areas】 Lobby, lobby lounge, and restaurants 4. Disinfection of Shared Spaces Regular disinfection is conducted on frequently touched surfaces such as room keys, doorknobs, elevator buttons, stair railings, carts, Onsen dressing rooms, front desk counters, shop areas, and pens used during check-in. 5. Hygiene Management in Restaurants Guests are requested to wear masks while using the restaurant. To prevent infection, operational changes (e.g., meal service methods) and entry restrictions in crowded areas may be implemented as necessary. After each use, tables, chairs, and menus are disinfected with hypochlorous acid water. Seating arrangements are made to ensure as much distance as possible between guests. 6. Hygiene Management in Guest Rooms Cleaning staff wear masks and conduct thorough ventilation and cleaning of guest rooms. After cleaning, furniture, doorknobs, walls, basins, baths, toilets, and other frequently touched surfaces are wiped down with hypochlorous acid water or alcohol. Hypochlorous acid water is also used throughout the guest room. 7. Guest Health Management Upon arrival, guests are requested to wear masks and cooperate with temperature checks. If you do not have a mask, please inform a staff member. If you feel unwell during your stay, please notify a staff member immediately. In the event of illness, we prioritize your recovery and may recommend visiting a medical facility. Depending on the symptoms, measures such as room changes, restrictions on going out, changes in meal service, ambulance arrangements, contact with health authorities, or staff wearing protective gear may be implemented. 8. Hygiene Management in Public Baths and Private Baths When using Onsen Facilities, guests are requested to bring towels from their rooms. Skincare products and hair styling products are not provided, so please bring your own. Additionally, to avoid crowded conditions, sauna operations are temporarily suspended. 9. Flexible Responses While the above measures are currently in place, we will continue to adapt flexibly to changes in circumstances, prioritizing the safety and health of our guests and staff.
