Unwind amid nature on the Baragi Plateau at 1,340 m above sea level, and savor exquisite French cuisine.

Located at the foot of Mount Azumayasan in Tsumagoi Village, the Baragi Plateau is surrounded by majestic natural scenery, lush green in summer and silver-white in winter. At the "Highland Hotel Lapin" nestled among the forest trees, enjoy a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle with creative French cuisine, antique furniture, and the glow of a fireplace.

  • This was our first stay here, and among all the places we’ve visited, it was the best Accommodation for Western-style cuisine. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality from welcome to farewell. The Room (very relaxing) and the bath (the in-room bath was more than enough) were both excellent. Above all, the meals were outstanding—both dinner and breakfast. Each dish was beautifully presented (including the tableware) and delicious, and we were amazed by how many items there were in the Japanese breakfast (we finished everything). We will definitely visit again during the autumn foliage season. One request: it would be nice to have body wash towels available in the bath area.
