Susami, a small port town located at the southernmost tip of the Kii Peninsula. Perched on a hill overlooking the tranquil sea, this Property, designed by architect Kazuo Oe, opened in 2010 and accommodates only two groups per day in a mansion-style setting. Passing through the small gate, you will find yourself in a stylish and modern sukiya world. In the garden with a 10-meter waterfront, Italian-made garden chairs are available for you to enjoy drinks. Unique to our Property, you can experience a villa-like atmosphere with a "completely private" reserved bath and private dining rooms overlooking the garden. We take pride in our creative Japanese-Western fusion cuisine, featuring Ise lobster, known for its high catch volume, and locally sourced ingredients from Kishu.     We stayed here as a couple for our wedding anniversary.It seemed we had the place to ourselves by chance, so we were able to truly relax.Every dish was carefully prepared, and everything was a flavor we had never tried before—absolutely delicious.The owners were also very kind, and we had a wonderful time.We would love to come back and stay again at a leisurely pace.

    This was my second stay at "Akiba Nankyu-an" following my visit in June, and I was fortunate enough to enjoy an exclusive stay this time, making it an even more luxurious experience.As a travel enthusiast, I have stayed at various accommodations before, but this one is truly "number one and only one" for me.The cuisine, tableware, furnishings, hospitality, and the hostess—all are refined and beautiful. Yet the atmosphere remains unpretentious and relaxing—a serene retreat for adults. Honestly, it's such a treasure of an accommodation that I almost want to keep it as my own little secret.I hope to visit "Akiba Nankyu-an" again during cherry blossom season next time. And someday, I wish to stay here with my daughters so they can experience the true essence of excellence.I look forward to meeting the wonderful hostess again soon. For any questions or requests, please feel free to contact us. 【Regarding Room and Bath Usage】 ・For 2-3 guests, only one Room and one bath will be provided. 【By Car】
Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours from Osaka.
Exit at Susami Interchange on the Kisei Expressway, drive for 5 minutes, turn right at the end of the road near Susami Station, and follow the road along the railway tracks.

Cross the railroad crossing on your left and go straight. At the end of the hill, turn left; you will see a black parking sign immediately on your left.
The accommodation is located about 50 meters up a gentle slope from there.
*For guests with mobility difficulties, you may park to the right of our gate.

Please note that some car navigation systems may not display accurate maps. If needed, please call us from JR Susami Station for guidance to our parking lot.
