  • It was a hot trip.

    I stayed at Izutsuya again for the first time in decades. When I was younger, I went to Yumura Onsen by car with coworkers on what we called a summer trip, and as the organizer I chose Izutsuya because the Onsen and cuisine looked excellent. I don’t remember much from back then, but I clearly remembered the food and baths, and this time as well we enjoyed delicious meals and the Onsen just as before. However, since we visited during an extremely hot midsummer period, the strong sun and Arayu left us a bit tired. Next time, I’d love to come when the courtyard has an autumn feel. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The attendants were also very polite and attentive, so aside from the heat it was a wonderful trip.

The high-temperature and abundant Onsen from our private source has been continuously flowing since the early Edo period, unchanged since our establishment. It is utilized throughout the Facility, including guest rooms, Onsen facilities, cuisine, and heating/cooling systems. This colorless, transparent, and smooth water is a mildly alkaline spring, gentle on the skin, and is known as the "Beauty Onsen for Soft Skin." Additionally, the water of Yumura, known for its resistance to oxidation, is referred to as the "Longevity Onsen for a Rust-Free Body." The components in the water help remove waste from the body, rejuvenate the skin, and warm you from the core of your body.
