An Onsen resort where the spirit of Otani Sanso’s hospitality lives on, featuring open-air baths in every guest room.

Walking along the corridor where the wind blows through the tranquil water basin, another moment of life begins to move slowly. "Villa Otosore" has been born, offering a tranquility not found in previous Ryokans or Hotels. The Room count is only 18 within the spacious premises. A luxury that is not like any other. We hope you enjoy a leisurely time at your villa.

  • This was the Accommodation I had wanted to stay at on my first trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture. The Accommodation was very clean and quiet, and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. The Room was spacious, and the view of the reflecting pool from the terrace was beautiful. The open-air bath in the Room had free-flowing natural hot spring water, which felt wonderful. At the bar lounge, I enjoyed complimentary drinks while chatting with the staff and had a great time.I highly recommend this Accommodation for anyone looking to spend a relaxing stay for a special anniversary or simply to unwind and forget about everyday life.

  • I made a Reservation two years ago but had to Cancel the Reservation at short notice. At last, I was able to visit this time.An even more wonderful Accommodation than I imagined. The Room was calm and relaxing, the Onsen was soothing, and the teppanyaki meal was excellent—great ingredients, and I also enjoyed chatting with the chef. And with smoking restrictions being so strict these days, we really appreciated that smoking is allowed only on the balcony; my husband, a smoker, was especially happy.I’d love to make this our regular Accommodation. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to return again—Otozure.
