  • We had a comfortable stay in Karuizawa!

    We chose this place because the Karuizawa outlet area gets crowded and it’s hard to enjoy a relaxing summer retreat there—and it was absolutely the right decision!Everything from the Room to the Onsen has been beautifully renovated, and we were very satisfied.And for train lovers, it was a real treat to be able to take a monorail to the Onsen.Even if you don’t ride it, you can get there quickly by stairs.We’d love to stay again.

  • I’d love to stay here again.

    This is an excellent Accommodation. The Room is also very relaxing. It was fun to grind the coffee beans yourself and brew your own coffee. I also liked that loungewear, etc., is not allowed during meals—it felt properly managed in a good way. The breakfast buffet is the best among all the Hotels I’ve stayed at so far. I ate so much that I didn’t even feel like having lunch. As for the bath, taking the cable car can be a bit of a hassle, but the Onsen quality is very good. I’d be even happier if it stayed open a little longer. The staff’s hospitality was also wonderful, and the comfort and sense of security made the trip even more enjoyable. When I go to Karuizawa, I’d like to stay here again.

Dining Bloom reopened after renovation in 2019. For breakfast, enjoy a buffet of both Western and Japanese dishes, including omelets prepared right in front of you by the chef, pizza toast baked in our signature pizza oven, and Shinshu soba. Also relax and unwind at the tea lounge with views of Mt. Asama, or at the quiet bar with a calm atmosphere inspired by a ship.

The Onsen building “Breeze in Plateau” offers breathtaking views of Mt. Asama. Karuizawa Asama Onsen is known for its benefits for cuts and scrapes, sensitivity to cold, and dry skin.
