    I visited for the first time in January. When I arrived at the Accommodation, I was immediately captivated by the magnificent Nishikigoi in the large aquarium at the front. On the way to my Room on the second floor, I was amazed by the massive stone arrangements and found myself wondering just how much weight this building was designed to withstand. I was then shown to a Room called “Waterwheel.” The Room featured an impressive waterwheel set into the wall, and I was simply mesmerized by its exceptionally elaborate design. Even the sink in the washbasin area was lined with agate—an extraordinary touch that made me unable to help but wonder (pardon my curiosity) how much it must have cost to build this Accommodation. Of course, the garden is also wonderful. The hot spring water had a gentle sulfur scent and felt very pleasant on the skin. Meals were served in-room for both breakfast and dinner, and everything tasted excellent. Every staff member was attentive, allowing me to spend my time comfortably. I chose this place based on Reviews, and it more than lived up to them—I would love to return in a different season.

  • It was a blissful stay, enjoying local sake and the Onsen.

    We stayed at the end of the year. We always look forward to the Onsen, especially enjoying it while viewing the koi swimming. The Shinshu local sake tasting Plan we used this time was very satisfying for our family who loves sake. The staff’s attentive care was polite and left a great impression.Having a sofa in the Room would make it even more relaxing.The views of Obasute and the Chikuma River were also beautiful, and we would like to visit again in a different season.

About Hygiene Measures
1. Measures Against COVID-19 at Our Property 1-1. Staff Health Management All staff members will undergo temperature checks upon arrival at work. Staff showing any symptoms of a cold or other health issues will not be allowed to work. 1-2. Staff Sanitization Measures - Our staff may wear masks and gloves while performing their duties. - Gargling, handwashing, and alcohol disinfection will be strictly enforced upon entering the Property. - To minimize contact time, some guest services such as facility explanations, guidance, and meal service have been simplified. 1-3. Facility and Public Bath - Alcohol disinfectants are provided at the entrance, public restrooms, each Room, in front of elevators, public bath dressing rooms, and the souvenir corner. - The public bath will be disinfected regularly, and family baths will be disinfected by staff after each use. 1-4. Rooms - Alcohol disinfectants are installed in each Room. 1-5. Meals and Hospitality - Room attendants will serve meals while wearing masks and gloves. - Check-in and check-out will be handled in each Room to minimize contact with other guests. - Meals will be served either in your Room or in private dining rooms. - Detailed menus will be provided to avoid prolonged explanations of the dishes. - Our recommended souvenirs can be selected at your leisure in your Room.
