Experience the timeless beauty of Japanese tradition at a luxury Hotel in Higashiyama Shichijo.
Hyatt Regency Kyoto is located in the lush Higashiyama Shichijo area, where Kyoto’s rich history and traditions live on. Adjacent to the Kyoto National Museum, Sanjusangendo Temple, Chishaku-in Temple, and Yogen-in Temple, it is just minutes from JR Kyoto Station and Keihan Shichijo Station—an ideal location for both business and sightseeing. Inspired by the concept of Contemporary Japanese design, the hotel reinterprets traditional Japanese beauty with a modern international sensibility, offering a warm atmosphere and uniquely Kyoto-style hospitality.
I took time off work to stay one night at Hyatt Regency Kyoto. At the front desk, the restaurant, and throughout the Hotel, I truly felt the pride of a first-class Hotel in the outstanding hospitality shown to guests.I was especially moved by the warm service from the staff at Cafe 33. Thank you very much.Despite closing due to aging facilities, the lobby and guest room were beautiful and impeccably clean.I am highly sensitive—especially to sound—but there were no footsteps or everyday noises from other guests in my room, and I was able to experience exceptional quiet.I strongly hope to stay again before it closes.Thank you.
I’ve stayed here several times. The location is great and very convenient, and I really like the Facility and the pleasant service from the Hotel staff. It’s a bit old, but it’s well cleaned and comfortable.I’m planning to visit one more time before it closes!
