  • I was satisfied with everything—the Onsen, the service, and the meals. Soaking in the Onsen while looking out over the Tamagawa River, I was able to enjoy a truly elegant and relaxing time. The only potential issue is that parts of the road to the Hotel are unpaved, so if you’re not confident driving, I recommend using the Hotel’s Shuttle Service. If there is no snowfall or rain, driving is not a problem at all.

  • This is an Accommodation I’d been curious about for a long time. From the photos, I expected it to feel much older, but while it may be old, it is very well maintained and so comfortable that you hardly notice its age. The open-air bath in the Room was spacious, the water was wonderful, and I was able to relax deeply. What I especially loved was the large public bath. Even when there’s an open-air bath in the Room, I don’t usually go to the large public bath much, but this one retained a charming sense of age—like an old-style therapeutic hot spring or traditional bathhouse—with the warmth of wood throughout. There were both hotter and cooler baths, and it felt fantastic. We also fully enjoyed meals made with Akita ingredients. Everything was delicious. Thank you very much.

About Hygiene Measures
Following the lifting of the state of emergency in Akita Prefecture, we will resume operations from June 1 while implementing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and safety of our guests and staff (Accommodation industry guidelines based on the “new lifestyle”). [A New Style of Ryokan] So that you can relax in your Room and enjoy Onsen bathing and meals, we are creating a safe and comfortable environment. To achieve this, each staff member will put guideline-based measures into practice. We will thoroughly implement three essentials: 1) Preventing droplet transmission by maintaining social distance, wearing masks, and disinfecting shared spaces. 2) Preventing contact transmission by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring thorough handwashing and sanitizing. 3) Preventing further spread through health monitoring and keeping records of activities. We may ask for your cooperation at times, but what matters most is that you enjoy your stay. We look forward to welcoming you. The courtyard at Miyakowasure has table seating. On fine days, enjoying tea outdoors is wonderfully refreshing. All guest Rooms feature an open-air bath. Please enjoy Onsen in a private space just for you.
