A Ryokan surrounded by the mountains of Northern Shinshu, proud to offer 11 types of soothing Onsen baths.

Lobby floor fully renovated on August 1, 2018! "Aburaya Tousen" is an accommodation where you can heal your body with the warmth of the hot springs, enjoy heartfelt hospitality, and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Shinshu's mountains reflected in flowing water through all four seasons. This hot spring inn lights a flame in your heart and warms your senses. Once a place where rapeseed oil was pressed and transported, people gathered around lanterns for moments of togetherness. Over time, a bathhouse was built to provide comfort for those seeking healing through hot springs. Now, this inn has expanded its offerings to enhance the joy of traveling and exploring various hot springs. "Aburaya Tousen" invites you to relax at your own pace and enjoy an extended stay while savoring every moment leisurely.

  • I stayed at this Accommodation yesterday! The service was very attentive, and the in-room open-air bath was flawless.Watching the staff grill and prepare sushi right in front of us at dinner and breakfast made the experience even better.Thank you for a wonderful one-night stay!

  • We arrived at the Ryokan while admiring the cherry blossoms in full bloom along the Yomase River at night. The Ryokan was quiet and relaxing, and we were able to fully enjoy an extraordinary getaway in a very comfortable setting.Every dish was carefully prepared and memorably delicious. The baths, lounge, and other facilities were clean, and we were able to use them comfortably. If I may make one request, we would rate it even higher if alcoholic beverages in the private lounge could be available until a little later, as we are big fans of drinks!Lastly, we were truly impressed by the staff’s consistently courteous service and warm hospitality throughout our stay.Thank you very much to the proprietress and all of the staff.
