  • We stayed here for a four-generation family trip.

    We stayed here with four generations of our family.Because our 93-year-old grandmother has become more self-conscious around others and rarely goes out to eat, we chose a Room with a private Onsen. She was truly delighted, and we are so glad we chose this Room.Since it was a trip with four generations, we wanted a space where everyone could relax at their own pace, so we made a Reservation for the Wakakusa Room. Thanks to the spacious Room, everyone in the family was able to spend time comfortably and freely without any stress.We usually live in Mie, so it’s rare for our whole family to travel together. This time, traveling with our 3-year-old son and 93-year-old grandmother, we were able to create wonderful memories as a family.We hope we can all visit again while our grandmother is still doing well. Thank you very much for such an unforgettable stay.

  • The best one-night stay!

    This time, our large family of eight stayed to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Our Room was upgraded, the meals were delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly—we truly enjoyed our one-night stay. Finally, the view from the Room was amazing.

    At Toen, various ingredients are used in the same kitchen, and dedicated cooking utensils for each ingredient are not used. We ask for your understanding of the circumstances of our Property and your prior acceptance of the possibility that ingredients not used as raw materials in the dishes we provide may be slightly mixed in. About Hygiene Measures
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Unzen Onsen Toen. From June 1, in accordance with the “COVID-19 Guidelines for Accommodations,” all staff will implement the following infection prevention measures. To prioritize our guests’ safety and peace of mind and to reduce the risk of infection for other guests and our staff, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation. Measures within the Accommodation 1. All staff will undergo health checks upon arrival at work and perform regular hand sanitization. 2. All staff will wear masks. 3. Staff will be instructed to maintain appropriate social distancing. 4. Alcohol-based sanitizer is available in shared areas. 5. Shared areas will be disinfected regularly. 6. Ventilation will be thoroughly maintained in shared areas and guest Rooms after use. 7. We ask our suppliers/contractors to wear masks and follow strict hygiene practices. Check-in 1. For the time being, we will refrain from providing vehicle transfer assistance (moving guest vehicles). Please have passengers and luggage get out in front of the entrance. 2. Take National Route 34 and cross Yagami Bridge (toll road), then continue via National Route 57 toward Unzen (about 90 minutes).
