A gourmet accommodation where you can enjoy Tajima beef and seafood, located about a 3-minute walk from Kinosaki Onsen Station.
About a 3-minute walk from Kinosaki Onsen Station, this Onsen Accommodation features tatami flooring throughout and is ideally located as a base for visiting the public bathhouses. Enjoy the comfort of walking barefoot, relaxing with dinner served in your Room, and seasonal kaiseki cuisine featuring seafood from the Sea of Japan and Tajima beef. The property also offers distinctive large communal baths, a sauna, and special Rooms with open-air baths, letting you enjoy both the lively Onsen town and quiet time at the Accommodation.
I was looking for an Accommodation with an Onsen where I could enjoy crab dishes. After searching various options, Ryokufukaku—where I had stayed before—matched my preferences best and was within my budget. With a course that included both crab and Tanba beef, I fully enjoyed the crab with in-room dining. The crab sashimi and grilled crab in particular were so delicious that I wanted to eat them again right away. Breakfast was also tasty, and the tofu you can make in a small pot was especially nice. The bath at the Accommodation was great, and I also visited two public baths outside. Strolling around the Onsen town is something unique to Kinosaki Onsen. I’d like to visit again around this time next year and the year after as well.
ふるふるいー 3/30/2026A retirement trip with four college friends. We had a great time planning it together, and aimed for Kinosaki Onsen during cherry blossom season. We wanted to be close to the river for the public bathhouses and nighttime cherry-blossom viewing—and of course, great food mattered—so we chose the long-established Ryokufukaku. We also upgraded our meal plan. The town was in full bloom. In the evening, we strolled among the cherry blossoms while visiting the public bathhouses. Since it was warm, some of us even went around in kimono and geta to really enjoy the Onsen atmosphere. Dinner was outstanding: huge shrimp and generous slices of seasonal fish sashimi were a delight. The large abalone was thick, tender, and delicious—so good it almost outshone even the crab. And just when we were already full, they finished with Tajima beef sukiyaki. We thought there was no way we could eat more, but somehow we polished it off. Truly satisfying! The Room was spacious—big enough for about eight people to sleep—and had very large windows facing the park. It felt wonderful. However, perhaps because dinner was served in-room, there was a slight smell of beef fat in the Room that bothered us a bit. After dinner, we went out again to see the night blossoms while touring more public baths. To finish off, we used the indoor bath at the inn as well. It isn’t huge, but it does have an open-air bath too, and we enjoyed it both before bed and again in the morning. We had a fantastic time overall, and next time I’d like to come with my family as well. Thank you very much for having us; we truly enjoyed our stay.”
