The World Natural Heritage Site, Shiretoko, is home to the large Resort Hotel "Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort," surrounded by vast nature. This is a supreme resort space blessed with the grand panorama of the Okhotsk Sea, abundant seafood and mountain produce, and rich natural Onsen. Since its opening in 1960, we have inherited a tradition of hospitality, aiming to provide guests with unique and exceptional experiences available only here.
This was my second stay. My first visit left a great impression, so when planning this trip with friends visiting from Taiwan, I recommended it and included it in our itinerary. Everyone praised the courteous service, the Facility, and the delicious meals. Although everything was complimentary, we truly appreciated being served high-quality food and drinks.
婉芝 9/27/2026Last year, due to bad weather, our stay was suddenly reduced to one night, but we truly appreciated how kindly you handled it. This year, we came back for two nights and fully enjoyed Shiretoko. Of course, the Hotel experience was outstanding. Even though it should have been fully booked, it never felt crowded or noisy anywhere in the Hotel, and we were able to relax comfortably. Since we visited with our grandchild, we are grateful for the warm hospitality of all the staff. In particular, the dining staff seemed to take great care so that we could enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. This is our No. 1 Hotel—we definitely want to return. We’ll be back again next year.

From June 1, 2023, to reduce environmental impact, Room cleaning during Multiple Night Stays will be provided as follows.
- Cleaning will be performed on the 3rd and 5th nights of your stay (and thereafter on odd-numbered nights).
- On days without cleaning, we will refrain from entering your Room.
Fresh towels will be placed in front of your Room door by around 12:00.
If you need trash collected, please place the trash bin outside your Room by 11:00.

KIKI Shiretoko Natural Resort is a property with onsen located on a highland on the western coast, overlooking the Sea of Okhotsk. From sea-facing rooms, you can enjoy magnificent ocean views, and in the open-air bath of the large public bath, you can experience 100% natural hot spring water.
Lantern SHIRETOKO / Lantern Shiretoko
The building, once a guesthouse, has been fully renovated into a private cottage available for exclusive rental. This completely private cottage, reserved for one group per day, offers stunning views of the Sea of Okhotsk from the Room and living area.
