  • I had a comfortable stay.

    I booked this on short notice during an unexpected day off, hoping to take my grandchild to the beach.We arrived around 10:00, and thanks to the front desk staff’s courteous guidance, we were able to park smoothly and proceed through check-in procedures, changing clothes, and luggage storage without any stress. Within an hour, we were already relaxing on the beach.That day, due to Typhoon No. 10, the waves became quite high and swimming was prohibited from 14:00. Even so, with its excellent oceanfront location—and since we could enjoy the pool and park until check-in—my grandchild stayed entertained and was very satisfied.As for the Room, we were upgraded, and through the wide horizontal window we fully enjoyed the privileged feeling of being right on the oceanfront. The staff were pleasant throughout, making it a very comfortable one-night stay.

  • Choosing Shiraraso Grand Hotel was truly, truly the best decision.

    I chose Shiraraso Grand Hotel as a gift for my parents. However, on the day of our stay, two typhoons hit, and the Kuroshio limited express was suspended, so we had no idea when it would start running again. We somehow managed to check in 2 hours and 30 minutes late, and even so, you kindly adjusted the times for our reserved private bath and dinner at our request.Dinner from 6:30 p.m. was a wonderful time thanks to an excellent trainee. But during the latter half of dinner, my father collapsed, causing trouble for the trainee and all the staff. Also, we had to cancel our private bath reservation scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at short notice. I am very sorry.The next morning at breakfast, when I asked about it, a gentleman in the restaurant was the first to speak to me. I was truly happy—thank you very much.Despite everything that happened due to the two typhoons and my father’s condition, I am truly glad we were able to visit Shiraraso Grand Hotel. Thank you so much to all the staff. We will definitely stay with you again next time we visit Shirahama!
