Five private open-air baths with different styles are popular among a wide range of guests, from couples to groups. The property features 10 special rooms with open-air baths, each with a spacious open terrace of over 10 tatami mats, providing a relaxing space after bathing. Meals include semi-Kaiseki cuisine that makes full use of local ingredients, such as seafood from Suruga Bay.
This was my third stay—an Accommodation I always want to return to. Since it’s at the gateway to Izu, it took just two hours from Tokyo, and with great hot springs and great food, we thoroughly enjoyed our two days. It’s well known as an Accommodation for hot-spring hopping, and this time too I soaked several times in the semi-open-air bath in our Room, enjoying the silky water that feels wonderful on the skin. One of the highlights here is also being able to enjoy grilled abalone and spiny lobster.What I notice every time is how friendly all the staff are, while still being properly professional—I can tell their training is excellent.I’d love to visit again.

July 29, 2017, 4 separate maisonette suite Rooms with open-air baths opened!
The first floor features an open-air bath with a spacious terrace and a relaxing Japanese-style room. The second floor is a maisonette type with a bedroom and living room.
We hope you enjoy a moment of reflection, forgetting the daily fatigue, in a space where the terrace harmonizes with the moon and the garden.
The five private open-air bathhouses 'Shunshintei' are surrounded by gardens. Crossing the corridor while enjoying the garden view, you will find five private open-air baths ahead of the post-bath salon.
