  • The dinner buffet is amazing.

    Buffet-style dining is common at Hotels, but I was amazed that this buffet also came with generous servings of assorted seafood. Everything was delicious, and I ended up eating too much. There was also a great variety of desserts, which made it even more enjoyable.That day, I went to the Tulip Festival in Yubetsu Town—after seeing the beautiful flowers, breathing in the fresh air, and enjoying a wonderful meal, it became a truly memorable day.

  • Family Trip

    This was our second stay. We chose to stay here to see the sunset over Lake Saroma, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. This time, our family of seven made a Reservation for three Rooms, and we were very well taken care of. We were able to relax together as a family and had a truly enjoyable time. At dinner, thanks to the seating arranged in advance, all seven of us could dine together, which we greatly appreciated and were very satisfied with. We are sincerely grateful to all the staff for their consistently courteous service throughout our stay. We would love to stay at Saroma Lake Tsuruga Resort Hotel again on our next visit in hopes of seeing the sunset over Lake Saroma. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Lake Saroma

Lake Saroma, spanning across the three towns of Tokoro, Saroma, and Yubetsu, is the largest lake in Hokkaido and the third largest in Japan. With a circumference of approximately 90 km and a 20 km long sand spit, the area is home to natural flower fields. At the Wakka Wild Flower Garden, located near the Hotel, the blooming season begins with the yellow flowers of the Siberian pea shrub, and around 300 species of flowers flourish from May to October. Additionally, from the summit of Mount Horoiwa nearby, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Saroma, the horizon of the Sea of Okhotsk, and even the distant Shiretoko mountain range. Most notably, the sunset over Lake Saroma as seen from Cape Kimuaneppu is a breathtaking sight.
