    We stayed in the Special Room Wakutake. There were four of us: my 4-year-old son, my parents, and me. The Room isn’t new, but it’s spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious as well—satisfying in both quality and quantity. The special kids’ menu was also well prepared. There are several types of baths, which was great, and our child never got bored.

  • It was very relaxing.

    The Room was wonderful, both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, the staff’s service was courteous, and of course the Onsen was excellent.I also heard the Room had been renovated, so I had a very comfortable stay; however, it was very disappointing to find dirt in the grooves of the sash at the shower room entrance and a large buildup of dust clogging the ventilation fan intake.These can be cleaned and made spotless with proper housekeeping.The face towels were very thin and didn’t absorb water well. Since this is such a lovely Accommodation, you might consider upgrading them to something comparable in quality to the bath towels—though I realize that may be an unnecessary suggestion.If I have another opportunity, I would like to stay again.Thank you very much.

Stroll-Through Grand Garden Bath “Yama-no-Yu” A rustic retreat with 12 bathing areas: the stroll-through grand garden bath “Yama-no-Yu” “Yama-no-Yu” is a soothing bath surrounded by nature. The “Left Bath” features the garden open-air bath “Aisui-no-Yu” and the large hinoki cypress bath “Aizan-no-Yu.” The “Right Bath” offers a variety of large indoor and open-air baths, including a rock bath and a log bath. Enjoy natural Onsen in many ways, including a radium steam bath and drinking the spring water.

    [July 2026] Notice of the “Misasa Onsen Summer Fireworks” and the “Curie Festival”

    We are pleased to announce two major summer events that light up Misasa Onsen: “Misasa Onsen Summer Fireworks” and the “Curie Festival.”

    【Misasa Onsen Summer Fireworks】

    Misasa Onsen’s annual summer tradition, the “Summer Fireworks,” will be held again this year.
    The show lasts only about 5 minutes, but the rapid-fire finale in the last 30 seconds is spectacular!
    Because the fireworks are launched from very close range, they burst overhead with incredible impact.

    The area from our entrance to around Koitani Bridge is a prime viewing spot!


    *Held on weekdays (Mon–Fri) during the period (excluding Obon).

    The “Curie Festival,” held every summer in Misasa Onsen, is a historic celebration honoring Madame Marie Curie’s achievements as the discoverer of radium and expressing gratitude for the blessings of the hot springs (radium).

    The biggest event of midsummer in Misasa Onsen—the Curie Festival—will be held this year for its 69th edition on Sunday, July 26!!

    Enjoy a full lineup of activities such as river fish catching, food stalls, a lively parade, and fireworks.
    Please come visit Misasa Onsen on July 26.
