[2023 Good Design Award Winner] A meticulously designed space to fully enjoy the seasonal landscapes. Experience the benefits of Unzen Onsen with our natural hot spring baths featuring a continuous flow directly from the source. Celebrating 93 years of history, the newly opened "Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan" offers a unique stay that immerses you in the seasons of the national park, providing relaxation and a sensory experience. Unzen's seasonal scenery blends harmoniously with nature, and the location has been carefully chosen to allow guests to enjoy these views from anywhere within the Ryokan. For dinner, indulge in creative cuisine featuring local ingredients from Unzen, Nagasaki, and Kyushu. At "Miyama Dining," you can savor your meal while admiring Unzen's finest illuminated Japanese garden. The Onsen, "Kirin no Yu," sourced from the Daikyokan Jigoku, offers a continuous flow of beautifying hot spring water. Guests can enjoy the large communal bath, open-air bath, and a sauna. The top-floor suite rooms also feature semi-open-air baths with water directly from the source. Open the windows, and you'll be greeted by the lush greenery of Unzen's mountains. Additionally, we provide an exclusive premium floor lounge, the "STRINGS" cloud-top salon, for our guests.

A luxurious stay interwoven with the rich seasons of Unzen.

Approximately 1300 years ago, Unzen was established by the monk Gyoki. This area, which thrived as a training ground for mountain Buddhism, later became a popular summer retreat for foreigners. With its rich nature as Japan's first national park and its therapeutic sulfur springs, Unzen has been a place of relaxation for many over the years. "Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan" has a history of 93 years since its founding and was newly renovated in 2022. Enjoy a special Ryokan stay.
