    Although the Facilities and amenities are old, this Hotel offers excellent service and warm hospitality.

    We stayed here for a 2-night, 3-day family trip to Shirahama (three of us). Overall, while the Facility and amenities are dated, the level of service and hospitality is exceptionally high. If asked whether I would recommend this Hotel to friends, I definitely would. What we liked - Free Shuttle Service from Shirahama Station. The departure/arrival times are coordinated with the Kuroshio limited express from Osaka, which is very convenient. - There are two pools—one indoor and one outdoor—and the indoor pool is open until 10:00 p.m. The indoor pool gets extremely crowded after 6:00 p.m., but our child was thrilled just to be able to swim in the evening. - The staff were very considerate. For example, when one local taxi company reduced operations starting on 8/21, they informed us when we took a taxi the day before, and also notified guests via notices in the elevator and handwritten memos. They paid close attention even to each guest’s transportation needs. - Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. We were surprised to see abalone and turban shell served at dinner. Freshly made sushi was available as much as you like. Also impressive was that even breakfast rice balls were made live on the spot by a chef (not pre-made). - The indoor bath in the Onsen has sliding windows that can be left open, effectively creating a semi-open-air bath feel—so you can really sense the outdoors from inside. A perfect setup for anyone who loves open-air baths. What could be improved - On our first night, dinner start times were only either 5:00 p.m. or 7:45 p.m.—a strict two-choice option. I understand capacity constraints, but being forced into such an extreme early-or-late choice is not something we’ve experienced at other upscale Hotels; it would be appreciated if this could be improved. - The walkway from around the changing rooms inside to the outdoor pool feels dark—too dark. Since there is such a nice outdoor pool, making this area brighter would definitely improve things.

    Our family of three had a wonderful time!

    Overall, it was great! Excellent value for money. The buffet was very delicious, and even during Golden Week the crowds were well managed. It was a fun and comfortable Hotel overall!

    A well-balanced and excellent Hotel

    The scenery, meals, and hospitality are excellent, and while the Facility is slightly aged, it remains clean. The large public bath includes a high-temperature sauna and cold bath for women. It is a very good Hotel.
