  • Exquisite cuisine and Onsen in a serene setting

    I hadn’t visited Arima Onsen for quite some time since the COVID-19 pandemic, but if I was going to return after so long, I wanted an exceptional place for both cuisine and Onsen—so I decided to splurge on this Accommodation. I had known the name Kinzan for years, but everything was far beyond my expectations, and my mother was absolutely delighted as well. This time we fully enjoyed the live conger eel kaiseki along with the Onsen, and if possible, we’d love to visit again during crab season.

  • A quiet, refined, and unforgettable stay

    At my wife’s request, we enjoyed our first Multiple Night Stay in Arima Onsen.We arrived 30 minutes earlier than planned, but were able to relax in the lobby with Japanese tea and traditional sweets while gazing out at the garden.The Room was spacious, and the view from the bath was stunning. The complimentary drinks in the refrigerator included Sapporo Black Label and Taittinger, and enjoying champagne while soaking in the Onsen was truly exceptional.Before we knew it, a gentle fragrance from an incense burner filled the air. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and both the property and garden were beautifully maintained.Everyone—especially our attendant—was impressive for their attentive service. We are sincerely grateful for such a wonderful time in every respect: the Room, the bath, and your hospitality.

    [Reopening after Renovation on August 8, 2025: West Wing “Sukiya-Style” Rooms]

    While preserving the traditional charm of the West Wing’s sukiya-style design, we have renovated mainly the water areas and in-Room amenities.
    The Rooms have been reborn as cleaner, more comfortable spaces.

    - The changing/washroom and toilet will be renovated into an even cleaner space.
    - A minibar and coffee machine will be installed; complimentary drinks will be provided.
    - In-Room bath amenities such as shampoo will be provided by BVLGARI.
    - Hair dryers will be upgraded to Dyson or ReFa models.
    - All TVs will be smart TVs.
    * Suites and Special Rooms feature a 65-inch smart TV and a soundbar.
    - Simmons twin beds will be installed in the anteroom of two-room layouts.
    * Beds are not available in single-room Japanese-style Rooms.
    * Suites, Special Rooms, and West Wing 7th-floor two-room guest rooms feature next-generation multi-function voice-controlled electric beds: Simmons Simrest.
