Relax at an Accommodation in Okutemagi with the soothing sound of a mountain stream, and enjoy hot springs and exquisite cuisine.

A serene accommodation nestled by the murmuring stream of Oku-Amagi. The forest trees cover the valley, yet the bright sunlight of Izu reaches down to illuminate the stream, reflecting a lush green landscape. This area, known as Sekokyo Gorge, offers seasonal scenery that is one of its many charms. The name of our accommodation, "Tanigawa no Yu Asebino," is derived from the abundance of Japanese andromeda (asebi) in this region. The flower language of asebi is "Let's travel together." We warmly invite you to visit Tanigawa no Yu Asebino with your loved one. Free from extravagant decorations or entertainment elements, this place offers a luxurious flow of time. Please seek a moment filled with serenity and elegance at our natural retreat-like accommodation.

  • I have stayed here more than 10 times, and everything about this Accommodation—the rooms, the meals, the views, and the hospitality—is perfect.During my stay, I rarely run into other guests; meals are served in a private dining room, the large public bath is spacious, and there are also four private baths available, so you can relax completely without any stress.I’ll definitely be back again soon!

  • It was a relaxing experience surrounded by magnificent nature, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. At reception, healing music plays as background music, and together with the scenery it creates a wonderfully out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. The open-air bath attached to the Room, the meals (for dinner we enjoyed sashimi, meat, salt-grilled ayu, and more; for breakfast we had a Japanese-style meal), and the service were all flawless—5 stars. We will definitely visit again!
