Advance payment by credit card requires attention.
I had made a reservation with a credit card payment in advance, but at the front desk, I was told it was a local payment, and I settled the bill. As a result, I ended up paying twice. Please be careful if you use pre-payment. I informed the front desk about the pre-credit card payment, but with a simple "No, it's a local payment," I thought it was my misunderstanding and settled at the front desk. I stayed in August, but it was discovered in October, and I was contacted by phone. Well, it's disappointing with just excuses. I think it would be better to have such exchanges documented or left in emails. There was no contact about whether the procedure was completed afterward, which is again disappointing. I think it is wise not to use pre-payment at this hotel. It was a good lesson this time.
