Now Available: Superior Twin Room

At Hotel New Otani Hakata, as part of our Room renovation program, we will begin offering the “Superior Twin” in early September 2026.
Inspired by a desire to reflect the charm of Hakata—where history and vibrant energy come alive—into the guestroom space, we have created a new “Superior” type that combines refined design with outstanding functionality under the theme of “Hotel interiors for a new era.”

The design concept is “Hotel interiors for a new era.” Bringing Hakata’s traditional culture into a contemporary Hotel setting, the Room features a calm monochrome palette accented with refreshing blue in carpeting inspired by Hakata-obi textiles. The result is a sophisticated space that expresses an unmistakable sense of Hakata.

In addition to relaxing in your Room, you can work comfortably with a table equipped with power outlets and USB ports, as well as a two-seat sofa—ideal for stays ranging from business to sightseeing.
We also offer Rooms that support Hollywood Twin style, allowing the beds to be joined freely. Whether traveling solo or staying as a couple, family, or friends, you can enjoy comfort tailored to your needs.

The minibar is placed toward the back of the Room to ensure an efficient layout. An open closet near the entrance provides ample storage while creating an airy sense of openness, making the Room feel more spacious. A large 55-inch wall-mounted TV and a low-profile TV console further enhance the clean, uncluttered look throughout.
