About a 5-minute walk from Kamakura Station. Depending on whether you use the west or east exit, it was also very convenient to stop by a supermarket on the way.
The Hotel entrance had a nice atmosphere, and check-in was done while seated in a chair, which was my first time. It felt great when I was tired. The front desk staff were smiling, and they also provided guidance for emergencies in case of earthquakes and other situations, which I found very thoughtful.
The Room was just the right size, kept clean, and comfortable to stay in.
I used the coin laundry, and being able to check the operating status and availability from my Room was extremely helpful. Also, since the Hotel wasn’t too large, going back and forth to the laundry area was easy.
I didn’t use the large public bath so I can’t comment on it, but the website said you can move around in loungewear. Since I stayed only one night, it really helped that I could use the coin laundry with only minimal changes of clothes.
However, the Wi-Fi connection was sometimes unstable, which was a bit disappointing. Overall though, it was a very comfortable stay.
If I have another chance, I’d like to stay again—and if it’s similar elsewhere, I’d like to try one of their affiliated Hotels as well.
