We stayed for three nights! The Room was spotless, with no noticeable odor from other dogs. The tableware, cookware, and appliances were well stocked, and there were plenty of pet amenities too—it honestly made us think, “We want to live in a place like this!” (lol) You can see the beach and ocean from the living room window—an absolutely amazing location. There are several Accommodations next door in a row, and the beach right in front seems to be a popular hidden spot, so it was often used by people other than guests. We had a truly luxurious stay and were very satisfied!

This was my first stay here (date of visit: August 17), and it far exceeded all expectations—it was a truly wonderful experience. We arrived around 4:00 p.m., and the staff welcomed us with warm smiles. From the moment we arrived, even before check-in, we could already feel their exceptional hospitality. I was also impressed by their thoughtful attention when they told us “today’s sunset time” as they guided us to our Room. We took a walk along the beach right in front of the Accommodation before sunset, and the pleasant sea breeze made it the perfect refresh. After our walk, we enjoyed the bath in our Room with a view of the beach. The sunset over the Genkai Sea from there was simply breathtaking—an incredibly beautiful panorama that left us speechless! We also bathed at night and again in the morning; spending time surrounded by clear ocean views and soothing wave sounds was pure relaxation at its best. The sushi kaiseki dinner “MURASAKI” was outstanding from start to finish, filled with careful craftsmanship throughout. Every dish showcased seasonal ingredients beautifully—such as lightly seared grunt fish from Genkai, steamed longtooth grouper custard-style, and overnight-dried sweetfish whose charcoal aroma stood out wonderfully. The main course of Saga beef grilled on magnolia leaf with miso, a comparison tasting of three kinds of tuna, and tilefish served with citrus vinegar were all exquisite—and I was completely satisfied all the way through dessert (Karatsu milk and cheese pudding). Breakfast surprised me even more. Beautifully arranged dishes were presented in a two-tiered jubako box; everything tasted amazing, with a level of luxury and quality far beyond what you’d expect from “breakfast.” Thanks to how attentively and kindly the staff checked on us throughout, we started our day feeling truly happy. With its location, spectacular baths with incredible views, superb cuisine, and warm hospitality—all perfectly delivered—this is an exceptional Accommodation. I will definitely return.

The sea was beautiful, and the Room was clean, so we had a comfortable stay. The teppanyaki dinner was excellent in both quality and portion size, and my elderly mother finished everything. My nephew loved watching the chef cook right in front of us and said he wants to go back to see the chef again (laugh). We were able to spend a wonderful time.

Stayed for two nights in late November. We were three women and found this accommodation to be absolutely satisfying in every aspect. The view is stunning, with the ocean right in front of you. The building itself is luxurious and meticulously designed without any compromises. Remarkably, it is equipped with the latest high-end appliances. The tableware includes Iittala, and the dining area features Carl Hansen furniture, showcasing attention to detail throughout the space. The room's fireplace was cozy, and we could even enjoy BBQ on the terrace. This time, we fully self-catered using Itoshima vegetables, which made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Of course, what truly matters is what's inside—the staff were warm and supportive from afar with friendly smiles. It was a wonderful accommodation that I would love to visit again!

It was great being close to the sea.

This was my third visit to Itoshima, the first in two years. Last time, after heavy rain the day before, it suddenly turned into a midsummer day, and the breathtaking sunset—changing moment by moment against the vast ocean—was truly moving. I enjoyed delicious food and the relaxed pace that only an all-inclusive stay can offer. This time had a different atmosphere and some changes. Arriving in a downpour with luggage, I climbed the stone steps to check in. What surprised me right away was “10:00 checkout”! I never expected it to be an hour earlier—maybe a pitfall of being a repeat guest? I was told it was changed because lunch service starts at 11:00 with reservations… but 10:00 still feels far too early. Since we spend about four hours round trip for an overnight stay, we want to relax as much as possible. If possible, I hope you will consider setting check-in to 16:00 and returning checkout to 11:00—I would be glad if this request from repeat guests reaches you. This time we dined while watching the post-rain evening scenery, and the food was just as delicious as ever—I was very satisfied. The soup course in particular had wonderful Japanese dashi flavor and was deeply comforting, and the tempura made from fresh squid (prepared after sashimi) was especially appreciated; as someone who loves cooking at home, having a professional fry dishes is a real treat.
